Specific Terms and Conditions for Cashless Payment

The terms and definitions of the General Terms and Conditions of the Event (available here) apply to these Specific Terms and Conditions for Cashless Payment.

These Specific Terms and Conditions for Cashless Payment will also be made available at the Event's Customer Service(s) via a QR Code. Any Visitor purchasing Pearls for the Event, either through the Cashier(s) and/or the Tomorrowland Account, will be presumed to have accepted these Specific Terms and Conditions for Cashless Payment.

Tomorrowland Brasil 2024 is a Cashless Event, which means that payments for the Event are not made through physical currency, but through the Event Bracelet.

    1. Definitions

1.1. “Cashless” is the payment method used at the Event, which covers both the Festival and Dreamville areas. The Event Organizer reserves the right to allow other payment methods.

1.2. “Pearl(s)” is the official currency of the Event. Visitors to the Event can buy Pearls through their Tomorrowland Brasil Account or at the Event's Cashless Box(es). Pearls will be activated in the respective Bracelet. Each Pearl is worth R$9.00 (nine reais).

1.3. “Cashless Box(es)” are the physical points installed at the Event venue (both at the Festival and at Dreamville) where Visitors can charge and/or recharge Pearls on the Bracelet.

    2. Transactions and operations

2.1. Pre-Credit: The Organizer will make it possible for Visitors to top up their bracelets with Pearls before the start of the Event. The pre-credit will be done through your Tomorrowland Account, just click on the number of the Bracelet you want to pre-credit.

2.1.1. Bonus pearls: The Organizer will grant a bonus of 1 Pearl for every R$180.00 (one hundred and eighty Reais) topped up in a single transaction via pre-credit. To do so, the Visitor has to make the advanced top up by October 9, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

    2.2. Top Up transactions:

2.2.1. From 00:01 on October 10, 2024, top-ups and reloads can only be carried out at the Event, at the Event's Cashless Boxes.

    3. Refunds

3.1. During the Event, no Pearl will be refundable (even if the Visitor is prevented from entering the Event).

3.2. Bonus Pearls and Pearls pre-loaded by the Organizer are non-refundable.

3.3. All refunds are subject to a refund fee of 1 Pearl (i.e. R$9.00), which will be communicated to the Visitor at the time of purchase.

    3.4. Automatic refunds:

3.4.1. All pre-load transactions (i.e. via the Tomorrowland Account) are automatically refunded when the payment processor is operated by Bancontact, iDeal, VISA and Mastercard brands. The Organizer reserves the right to add or remove payment processors, as well as payment methods, if necessary. If the Visitor makes a top-up during the Event, the refund will only be automatic if the Tomorrowland Account balance -at the end of the Event- is equal to or less than the amount of the pre- top-up made by the Visitor.

3.4.2. The Organizer will start making automatic refunds within 7 working days after the end of the Event. This deadline is subject to delays beyond the Organizer's control. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used by the Visitor when topping up online. The payment method must be within the expiry date, expired or non-existent credit cards make refunds impossible. The deadline for the payment to be visible on the

invoice of the payment method depends on the currency, country and processing time of the payment method.

3.4.3. Eligible refunds for automatic refunds are automatically made by the Organizer. The Organizer may not change the method of payment of the refund, i.e. the refund will be made in the same way as the payment was made when the Visitor loaded the bracelet.

3.5.1. Manual refunds are those that are not made automatically and must be requested by Visitors by November 14, 2024, at 23:59 (GMT -3), using the QR Code provided by the Organizer. Refund requests sent after this date will not be considered.

3.5.2. Manual reimbursement is required for all top-ups made at the Event's Cashless Boxes, except in the case provided for in item 2.3.4.1.

3.5.3. The Organizer will begin processing these refunds within 7 working days after the end of the request period indicated in section 2.3.5.1. This deadline is subject to delays beyond the Organizer's control. Refunds will be made using the payment method specified by the Visitor in the 'Manual Refund Form'.

3.5.4. Visitors are responsible for providing the correct refund information to the Organizer. If Visitors do not provide the Organizer with the correct information, the Organizer reserves the right not to execute the refund. The processing time depends on the repayment method as well as the processing medium used for the top-up.

3.5.6. Refunds for transactions made using international payment methods are subject to bank charges made directly by the bank used by the Visitor. International refunds require an additional processing time of at least three working days and are subject to additional bank charges imposed by the acquiring bank. Visitors will be responsible for paying all fees and taxes.

    4. Questions and doubts

4.1. Visitors can ask questions and clarify doubts about their transactions at the Event's Cashless Cashiers or send them by e-mail to cashless@tomorrowlandbrasil.com.
